GLENCOE & THE ISLE OF SKYE
This Glencoe & The Isle of Skye Fine Art Landscape Photography gallery celebrates my love for two destinations I have been exploring and photographing for more than a decade now. I understand that many people wouldn’t consider Scottish weather exactly as ideal; for me, on the other hand, is just about perfect. Scotland’s ever-changing skies, fast-running clouds, its mist and fog, its rainstorms and the incredible light that follows them are extremely inspiring, covering the whole range between dramatic, scary, sweet and intimate. Exploring and photographing Scotland’s wild and remote landscapes under such wonderful skies is an unforgettable experience, and every time I go to Scotland I come back with completely different images of those locations I revisit, as well as with images of newly discovered ones.
After over ten years, 8 Workshops and countless visits to Glencoe & Isle of Skye, this portfolio grew so large that, for your convenience, I decided to divide it in 2 sub galleries:
THE ISLE OF SKYE
The Isle of Skye’s spectacular landscapes are made by the forces of erosion, but it is Skye’s tides, rivers and waterfalls that give them their unique look, under the Atlantic sky that creates Skye’s magic light. No matter how many times I went there, I am always looking forward to going back! (Click on the thumbnails to browse the gallery)
The amazing valley of Glencoe is a gold mine of photographic opportunities, and a joy to explore and photograph. (Click on the thumbnails to browse the gallery)
