TUSCANY & CINQUE TERRE

This Tuscany and Cinque Terre Fine Art Landscape Photography gallery is dedicated to the wonderful landscapes epitomising Italy for generations of painters, writers, artists and photographers. In Tuscany, rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, olive orchards, vineyards, old farms and churches characterise this beautiful, well-groomed land where thousands of years of human intervention designed some of the most pleasant landscapes I had the fortune to photograph. Le Cinque Terre, set on the coast north of Tuscany, are five picturesque old fishermen’s settlements: their landscapes are a mixture of the villages with their characteristic coloured houses hanging one on top of the other over little natural bays and coves, and layered sedimentary rock shaped during the ages by the Earth’s movement and pressure.
